From the farm to Beijing

The parents came to China. They made it safely through all the airports not knowing Chinese (or Korean) and we picked them up on time after their flight.

We spent the first days touring Beijing. I've seen many of the sites numerous times but still get a kick out of walking around the Bird's Nest and the Olympic grounds. Guess I'm really a sports fan as it never gets old.

We took them to see the "famous sites" of Beijing including Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, the Great Wall, the Temple of Heaven, the Pearl Market, the Hutongs, and the Bird's Nest. They also made it to a few personal favorites like Pete's Tex-Mex, TGI Friday's, and the Mac.
