A is for Airplane
Kanyon goes to "Mommy school" two days a week. The day starts with prayer, calendar and weather time. Kanyon looks outside and reports the weather. He's eager for the first snow and excited to see different types of clouds for our windows. Next, Kanyon learns a Bible memory verse. This week he learned John 14:15, "If you love me, you will obey my commandments." The lesson continues with the letter of the day, O for ocean, F for fish, A for airplane, and B for bus where Kanyon practices reading and writing.
Then it's time for Kanyon's favorite, crafts. M'Lynn's been really creative and thanks to Pinterest, she's found all kinds of crafts for Kanyon. Actually, M'Lynn does the crafting while Kanyon sits entertained waiting for the finished product. Unless the craft involves cutting with scissors, then Kanyon gets really excited and helps as much as a 3-year-old can. So far, they've made a recycled cardboard paper airplane, a jelly fish, and several letter cut-outs. I can't wait to see what she comes up with next.
